1. Overview

This website and online store are operated by Osho Shin. Throughout these Terms of Service, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the legal operator of Osho Shin.

Our store is hosted through Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer products and Services to you.

By visiting our website, placing an order, purchasing a product, accessing digital content, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms of Service and our other policies, including our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Services.

Content relating to Zen, Buddhism, mindfulness, meditation, emotional wellbeing, relationships, work, or personal development is provided for general educational and informational purposes.

Our content is not medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental-health condition and should not be used as a substitute for professional care.

Individual experiences and results vary. We do not guarantee any particular emotional, spiritual, health, financial, professional, or personal outcome.

5. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

We may refuse, limit, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:

• Suspected fraud or unauthorized payment;

• Incorrect pricing or product information;

• Product unavailability;

• Shipping restrictions;

• Technical errors;

• Breach of these Terms; or

• Orders that appear to be placed for unauthorized resale or redistribution.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the applicable amount to the original payment method.

6. Prices, Taxes, and Payment

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the store.

Shipping charges, taxes, customs duties, import fees, and other applicable charges may be added at checkout or charged separately by government authorities, carriers, banks, or payment providers.

Payment is processed through Shopify and the payment providers displayed at checkout. Your use of a payment method may also be subject to the provider’s terms and privacy policy.

We may correct pricing or product-information errors before accepting or fulfilling an order.

7. Digital Products and License

Digital products are licensed, not sold, to you for your personal and non-commercial use unless the product page expressly states otherwise.

You may not, without our prior written permission:

• Copy or reproduce digital content except for reasonable personal use;

• Share download links, files, passwords, or access credentials;

• Upload the content to file-sharing services, social media, websites, or public databases;

Purchasing a digital product does not transfer copyright or any other intellectual-property right to you.

8. Physical Products, Shipping, and Returns

Physical-product orders are subject to our Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy.

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Customs inspections, carrier disruptions, weather, incorrect addresses, and other matters outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website, branding, product names, books, text, videos, lectures, illustrations, photographs, designs, graphics, downloads, and other content made available through the Services are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

“Osho Shin” and associated names, logos, and branding may not be used in a manner that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation without permission.

10. User Content and Communications

If you submit a review, comment, testimonial, suggestion, photograph, or other content, you confirm that:

• You have the right to submit it;

• It does not infringe another person’s rights;

• It is not unlawful, misleading, abusive, defamatory, or harmful; and

• It does not contain malicious software or unauthorized commercial solicitation.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and display content you voluntarily submit in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Services.

We are not obligated to publish or retain user-submitted content and may remove it where reasonably appropriate.

Terms that by their nature should continue after termination, including intellectual-property, payment, liability, and dispute provisions, will survive termination.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Kyoto, Japan.

This provision does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections or rights available under the laws of the consumer’s country or place of residence.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time for legal, operational, security, or business reasons.

The revised Terms will be posted on this website with an updated revision date. Changes will not retroactively reduce rights relating to orders already completed unless permitted by law.
